The Wonder View Inn is located on the site of Farview, the estate of Mary Roberts Rinehart, famous writer of mystery stories. The stone steps and walls on grounds are remnants of the original Rinehart Estate. Most of the Estate and 100`s of surrounding homes were destroyed by fire in 1947
